It also has AirPrint support so you can print wirelessly from your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch without having to use the computer it’s attached to. The machine offers various paper handling options including 150 sheets of plain paper in the main tray, 20 sheets of speciality media – such as iron-on transfers or greeting cards – in an optional slot, and a photo cassette that holds up to 30 sheets of 4″ x 6″ photos.

There’s no rear exit for printed pages, but it does have a flip-down panel on the front for feeding photo paper or envelopes. The printer uses dye sublimation thermal transfer technology rather than ink, so there’s no messy refills to buy.
