Canon DR-M140 is a compact and lightweight printer that prints with a resolution of up to 5760×1440 dpi. It can print on various types of paper and is equipped with a liquid crystal screen for easy navigation.
Thanks to the USB connection, imageFORMULA is designed to interact with a single computer; the scanner software included in the package does most of the hard work, including determining the resolution of the task and other parameters, converting scanned text into editable text and sending documents to various addresses, such as the cloud, a local disk or server application for document management. It does not allow you to connect your portable devices to the scanner, as some of its competitors do.
It supports a variety of connectivity options, including USB, Ethernet, Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi Direct. Brother also supports Near-Field Communication (NFC), a peer-to-peer network protocol that allows you to connect a smartphone or tablet to a scanner by simply tapping a mobile device on an access point on the latter’s control panel.
Canon DR-M140 is a universal printer with the ability to send faxes. It is equipped with a scanning device that can scan documents up to 8.5 x 11 inches and supports two-sided scanning, which means it can scan both sides of a document at the same time. The scanner also supports scanning directly to PDF format, which makes it easier to exchange scanned documents with other users who may not have access to Canon proprietary software.
